- 24/7 Emergency hotline
- Immediate consultation from our Radiation Safety Professional on proper responses required to mitigate the emergency or incident as-soon-as-possible.
- On-site response including: - Repair and/or re-installation of the radiological source or device - Repackaging, transport, and disposal of damaged material - On-site decontamination, remediation, and performance of area surveys sufficient to meet regulatory requirements for unrestricted use to the public
- Assistance in notification to the appropriate NRC or Agreement State authorities within regulatory notification timeframes
- Recovery support to decontaminate affected areas and/or recover the damaged radioactive material.
- Incident report investigation and submittal to NRC or Agreement State agencies. Our staff is well experienced in conducting the required "root cause" analysis and in developing corrective action plans and 30 day notification reports that will be acceptable to the appropriate licensing agency.
